The Renewables Technology Bristol meet up is back in Bristol for it’s eighth edition.

Doors open 17:30 at the Bristol Beacon Tower, right in the centre of town, with plenty of food and drink provided.

There will be three short, informative, 15 minute talks from industry experts, each with their own set of experiences and ideas to share with you.

Rachel is a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) with 11+ years structural engineering & project management experience, across Oil & Gas, Transportation and Offshore wind. 

Rachel brings considerable experience and technical knowledge from carrying out a number of structural design and analysis projects.

Rachel is a STEM and WISE ambassador and very passionate about encouraging the future generations and promoting engineering.

We’re looking forward to hearing her session.

Senior Energy Consultant at Arup

Laura is a Senior Energy Consultant and hydrogen lead for Arup’s West business (Southwest and Wales). Laura is an experienced leader in hydrogen, research, innovation, public strategy and policy, and project delivery, across the entire value chain developed through roles in both the public and private sector – in Arup, UKRI and Government.

Laura has supported clients whilst at Arup in projects including hydrogen production project development, green gas distribution projects (hydrogen and biomethane), government funding applications, strategy, and strategic case development.

Based in Bristol, Laura understands the local energy and hydrogen landscape well having worked directly for clients in the region, including Western Gateway, and is an active member for HSW.

Re-Tech VII was our most significant to date. More than 100 people turned up, grabbed a drink, filled up with mac n cheese and got involved.
