Our first Re-Tech Event
What started as an idea one morning on the way to work turned into an excellent evening of pizza and chat on a glorious summer’s evening in Bristol.
With little more than a single graphic, an Eventbrite page and a healthy slice of LinkedIn DM’s, Re-Tech Bristol got off the ground. A massive thank you to all who came along.
The evening itself was exactly how we’d hoped it would be. A group of inspired and positive people involved in various facets of renewables and tech all coming together. It was awesome to see so many people and we took great pleasure in hearing numerous times ‘oh I’ve seen you on LinkedIn but we’ve never actually met.’
The first guests arrived shortly after 5pm with some staying on… well let’s say a few of us ended up in the Old Duke way past our bedtimes.
We’re planning on putting on another Re-Tech Bristol before the year is out, join the mailing list to be in the know.
We all spend too much time behind our screens (especially after the past couple of years). Re-Tech Events is on a mission to create a community and provide a much needed platform for genuine discussion about the role of technology as the enabler of the energy transition.
Step one, mission accomplished.
